Bookeventz, earlier UrbanRestro is an online platform to book party venues and banquet halls.Claims to have partnered with 2000+ venues ranging from restaurants, lounges to resorts, hotels, party plots etc. Claims to have served 2,000 customers in Nov 2015 and over 100 bookings made with a gross merchandise value of over INR 1 Cr. Also, lists caterers and artists on the platform. Has features like real-time availability, checking with the banquets and self-generated responses based on availability and specifications. Raised an undisclosed amount of angel funding led by Mumbai Angels and prominent angel investors in Dec'15 and Dec'16. As of December 2016 has served approximately 73k event inquiries, expedited 5000 events and presently booking approximately 250 events per month. As of December 2016 has a GMV of approximately 50 crores.
