Dürr’s activities in India began in the 1950s with the galvanizing line built for Tata at Jamshedpur. With its impeccable kick start, Dürr officially started its full-on activities in 1997 with the foundation of Dürr India Private Ltd. Since then we have been serving the industry with outstanding automation expertise in painting, application technology, final assembly, exhaust air purification and energy efficiency. Dürr has expanded its capacities on the sub-continent with the aim not just of serving the local market, but also of making itself available to customers outside India as an Engineering Center with international expertise and local experience. In our training center, we offer exclusive robot training for operating and maintenance staff. Our expertise covers effective solutions for greenfield consulting and projects, and all kinds of service and modification support for brownfield sites. In India, we have successfully installed more than 50 plants and served more than 28 OEMs.
