Role Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Admission Counselor to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in guiding aspiring students through the admissions process, helping them make informed decisions about their educational paths

Location - Shanti Niketan, New Delhi

Key Responsibilities:
1. Application Process
Review Applications: Assess applications submitted by prospective students for
completeness and accuracy.
Document Verification: Ensure that all required documents (transcripts, letters of
recommendation, etc.) are submitted and meet schools standards.
Information Accuracy: Verify that all information provided by applicants is correct and
consistent throughout the application.
Communication with Applicants: Notify students of any missing documents or
information and provide guidance on how to resolve issues.
Maintain Records: Keep accurate records of applications, including status updates and
communication logs.
Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to facilitate a smooth admissions
process and ensure compliance with schools policies.
Reporting: Prepare reports on application trends and provide insights to improve the
admissions process.

2. Application Evaluation
Evaluate Applications: Assess applicants based on academic qualifications,
extracurricular activities, personal statements, and varied letters.
Establish Criteria: Develop and apply evaluation criteria to ensure a fair and
comprehensive assessment of each candidate.
Provide Feedback: Offer constructive feedback to applicants regarding their strengths
and areas for improvement.
Documentation: Maintain detailed records of evaluation processes and decisions for
accountability and future reference.

3. Student Advocacy
Serve as Intermediaries: Act as a liaison between students and the school, ensuring
their needs and concerns are addressed.
Support Transition: Provide guidance to students during their transition from high
school to college.
Facilitate Admission Processes: Assist students in navigating the admissions process
to ensure a smooth experience.
Advocate for Students: Represent students' interests and ensure their voices are heard
in the admissions process.

Qualifications & Skills:
Any graduate
3+ years of experience in Counselling or education field
Experience in school admissions or related educational roles.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, and parents.
Proficiency in technology and information management systems.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure.
Results-driven with attention to detail and a passion for education.
