Role Overview:

The Airtable Senior Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining advanced Airtable solutions that support business operations, enhance productivity, and integrate seamlessly with other enterprise applications. This role requires strong technical expertise in Airtable development, scripting, automation, and integration, along with a deep understanding of business process optimization and low-code solutioning.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Airtable Development & Customization
Design and build Airtable bases, tables, relationships, and views aligned to business needs.
Develop and maintain custom workflows using Airtable Automations, Formulas, and Interfaces.
Create complex formulas, rollups, and linked record structures for efficient data management.
Implement user-friendly dashboards and interface views for business stakeholders.
2. Automation & Scripting
Build and maintain automations using Airtable’s built-in automation tools or scripting (JavaScript).
Develop and debug Airtable scripts to implement custom logic and extend functionality.
Optimize existing automations to ensure performance and reliability.
3. Integration & API Development
Integrate Airtable with third-party applications (e.g., Salesforce, Slack, HubSpot, Google Workspace, Jira, etc.) using APIs, Make (Integromat), Zapier, or custom middleware.
Manage data synchronization between Airtable and external systems.
Implement error handling, logging, and monitoring for integrations.
4. System Administration & Governance
Manage user access, permissions, and roles across multiple bases.
Ensure data consistency, security, and compliance with organizational standards.
Perform base optimization and maintenance to enhance scalability and usability.
5. Collaboration & Support
Work closely with business teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Collaborate with architects and cross-functional teams to implement scalable Airtable solutions.
Provide user training, documentation, and ongoing support.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
3–6 years of experience in Airtable development or low-code platform implementation.
Hands-on expertise in Airtable base design, automation, scripting, and interface features.
Strong understanding of relational database concepts and data modeling.
Experience using JavaScript for Airtable scripting and API integrations.
Familiarity with integration tools such as Make (Integromat), Zapier, or Workato.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
