Job Summary
Area Manager – Role Summary
We are looking for a high-impact Area Manager to drive store performance, lead conversion, and team productivity across multiple retail stores. The role blends strong sales leadership with data-driven decision-making and AI-enabled execution, including call quality optimization and agentic AI systems.
Scope
Manages an Area of Stores in a region
Leads 40-60 Sales Reps & Team Supervisors
For Areas under 5 stores, directly leads Sales Reps
Leverages Agentic AI systems to augment decision-making, monitoring, and execution at scale
Core Objectives
Drive and optimize demand funnel: Lead Gen → Footfall → Qualified Lead → Order → Pre-Delivery Relationship Excellence
Improve AOV, Basket Size
Ensure SOP & Retail Playbook adherence
Maximize per store & per rep productivity
Execute pilot projects & local activations aggressively
Partner with HRBP for hiring, staffing, scouting, referrals and retention, Coach and mentor teams within the region continually.
Continuously optimize calling funnel using AI-driven call quality insights and behavioral signals
Key Responsibilities
Business & Revenue Ownership
Own end-to-end funnel: Lead → Footfall → Qualified Lead → Order
Drive AOV, basket size, and reduce cancellations
Improve store-level and rep-level conversion rates
Team Leadership
Manage, coach, and scale a team of 30–40 reps
Build promotion pipelines & performance culture
Manage hiring, churn, and staffing with HRBP

Qualifications
3–5 years in retail sales / inside sales / multi-store operations and LFR
Experience managing large frontline teams
Strong understanding of sales funnels & conversions
Data-driven decision making
Strong coaching & feedback skills
High ownership & execution bias
Comfort working with dashboards, SQL/BI tools (good to have)
AI & Future-Ready Skills (Preferred)
