Position Summary:
We are looking for a oriented legal professional to join the Employment & Litigation team within the Legal function. The role will involve supporting employment law matters, litigation activities, legal documentation, and compliance-related responsibilities while working closely with internal stakeholders and external counsel.
Key Responsibilities:
•Support employment law matters including employee grievances, disciplinary matters, workplace policies, and employee-related legal documentation.
•Coordinate and support ongoing litigation matters in consultation with external legal counsel.
•Draft, review, and manage employment-related agreements, notices, responses, and other legal documents.
•Support contract review and legal documentation activities as required.
•Assist in handling legal notices, claims, and dispute-related communications.
•Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws, statutory regulations, and internal policies.
•Coordinate with HR, business teams, compliance, and other stakeholders on employment and litigation-related matters.
•Maintain litigation trackers, legal records, and documentation repositories.
•Support legal research and preparation of case summaries, reports, and compliance documentation.
•Identify legal risks and escalate concerns appropriately.
• Litigation Strategy/Risk Assessment: Develop litigation strategies, evaluate case strengths/weaknesses, and provide risk assessments to leadership before decisions on settlements or legal actions.
• Training: Conduct training sessions for HR, managers, and employees on employment law, workplace conduct, POSH, disciplinary processes, and compliance obligations.
Key Requirements:
•6–8 years of experience in employment law, litigation support, and legal advisory functions.
•Good understanding of labor laws, employment regulations, and litigation processes.
•Experience in drafting and reviewing employment contracts and legal documentation.
•Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
•Ability to manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.
•Prior experience in IT industry
•B.L. with LL.B Preferred.
