Role Overview

Person will be the primary interface between manufacturing, program management, Requisition engineering & quality for all manufacturing test process development, conducting Electrical Testing and trouble shooting.
Design, develop and implement cost-effective methods of testing and troubleshooting systems and equipment
Serve as an active member of new product development teams and has the lead responsibility for ensuring design for testability (DFT)
Define the software and hardware requirements for production level tests
Justify and procures test hardware and other capital expenditures needed for production test
Setup and deploys test hardware, software, stations, etc. in production
Train test technicians in the use of test equipment, test process and coach the testing team
Communicate and implement Engineering Change Order (ECO) driven changes to test process and fixtures for all levels of testing
Work with cross-functional teams to plan test development schedules and allocate resources
Benchmark and investigate new test technologies and test equipment for current and future products
Lead and drive continuous improvement projects & Other duties as required

The Ideal Candidate

Hands-on experience as an Electrical/Electronics Engineer with 5-8 years of experience in manufacturing testing and troubleshooting of Converters . Experience in automated testing, LabVIEW, and test process development is preferred.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in electrical/Electronic Engineering
Minimum of 5-8 years related working experience in testing Power cabinets, control panels, converters, inverters, DCS, switch gears etc.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with automated test equipment (functional testing, Load test , Hydro test ,etc)
Experience developing hardware/software test processes
Experience with LabVIEW , Toolbox S
