Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Engineer with 2-3 years of experience to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of modern web and API-based applications. The role involves manual, automation, and AI-assisted testing in a fast-paced Agile environment.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Design and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios
Perform manual and automation testing across UI, API, and backend systems
Develop automation scripts using Selenium / Playwright / Cypress
Conduct API testing using Postman / REST Assured
Identify, track, and validate defects using Jira
Perform regression, integration, and end-to-end testing
Validate functionality against business requirements
Collaborate with development and product teams in Agile sprints
Generate test reports, metrics, and quality insights
Leverage AI tools to improve test coverage and efficiency

Qualifications

Required Skills

3+ years experience in Software Testing / QA
Strong knowledge of Manual Testing, SDLC, STLC
Hands-on experience with automation frameworks
Experience in API testing and SQL validation
Familiarity with CI/CD (Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
Knowledge of Java / Python / JavaScript
Experience with Git and defect tracking tools

Preferred Skills

Experience with AI-assisted testing tools (Copilot, ChatGPT, Amazon Q)
Exposure to:
Test case generation & optimization
Smart test execution / defect prediction
AI-based log analysis & anomaly detection
Understanding of self-healing frameworks / intelligent locators
