We are looking for an experienced AWS Cloud Solution Architect with 10+ years of overall IT experience and strong expertise in AWS cloud architecture, infrastructure management, security, compliance, firewall administration, and system administration. The ideal candidate should also have exposure to AI-enabled cloud solutions and intelligent automation technologies.
Role Overview
The candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing secure, scalable, and compliant cloud and infrastructure solutions across enterprise environments. This role requires expertise in AWS cloud services, network security, firewalls, server administration, DevOps practices, and emerging AI technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available AWS cloud architectures
Lead cloud migration, modernization, and infrastructure transformation initiatives
Define and enforce cloud security architecture, governance policies, and compliance controls
Manage and support enterprise infrastructure including Linux/Windows servers and cloud-based environments
Perform system administration activities such as server provisioning, patching, monitoring, troubleshooting, backup, and performance tuning
Configure and manage enterprise firewalls, VPNs, network segmentation, and security policies
Implement IAM policies, encryption mechanisms, zero-trust architecture, and access management controls
Architect and maintain hybrid cloud and on-premises infrastructure connectivity
Conduct security assessments, vulnerability reviews, and compliance audits
Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform or CloudFormation
Collaborate with DevOps and Infrastructure teams for CI/CD implementation and automation
Monitor infrastructure health, incident management, and disaster recovery planning
Integrate AI/ML services and intelligent automation capabilities within cloud environments
Support AI-enabled initiatives such as chatbots, predictive analytics, document intelligence, or Generative AI integrations
Provide technical leadership and best practices for cloud security, infrastructure operations, and AI adoption
Required Skills
11+ years of IT experience with strong expertise in AWS Cloud Architecture
Hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, IAM, Lambda, VPC, ECS/EKS, RDS, Route53, API Gateway, CloudWatch, and CloudFront
Strong experience in Linux and Windows System Administration
Expertise in firewall administration and network security technologies such as Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA, Check Point, or similar platforms
Experience configuring VPNs, IDS/IPS, WAF, proxy servers, and network access controls
Strong knowledge of cloud security, compliance, governance, and risk management frameworks
Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, and DevOps practices
Good understanding of networking concepts including DNS, TCP/IP, Load Balancing, Routing, and Hybrid Connectivity
Familiarity with AWS security services such as GuardDuty, Security Hub, WAF, Macie, Inspector, and Shield
Experience in backup strategies, disaster recovery, high availability, and business continuity planning
