Overview of Role
We are looking for a skilled Azure Cloud Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Azure infrastructure, Terraform, automation, CI/CD pipelines, and Cloud Migration projects. The ideal candidate should have production-grade experience supporting enterprise Azure environments, infrastructure automation, troubleshooting, and migration of workloads from On-Premises to Azure.
Key Responsibilities
Build, deploy, and manage Azure infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
Build and maintain reusable Terraform modules and CI/CD pipelines
Automate deployments and operational tasks using Ansible, PowerShell, and Shell scripting
Manage and troubleshoot Azure services including:
Virtual Machines (Windows/Linux)
VNet & Networking
Load Balancer, App Gateway, Ingress
Azure SQL Managed Instance
Azure Key Vault
Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD
Identity & Access Management
Develop and support CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins
Perform production troubleshooting for:
Terraform deployment failures
CI/CD pipeline failures
VM/network/connectivity issues
Infrastructure and performance issues
Cloud Migration (Highly Important)
Strong experience in migrating workloads from On-Premises to Azure
Experience migrating:
Windows/Linux servers
Applications
Databases
Storage/File Shares
Participate in migration planning, execution, cutover, and post-migration support
Troubleshoot migration-related networking, identity, and application issues
Monitor infrastructure and respond proactively to alerts and operational issues
Work closely with customers and internal engineering teams
Follow security, governance, and cloud best practices
Technical Requirements
Core Experience: 3-5 years of experience as Azure Cloud Engineer.
Azure Cloud
Strong hands-on experience with Azure IaaS services
Networking, Security, Identity, and Access Management
Windows and Linux platform administration
Active Directory knowledge
Terraform (Highly Important)
Production-grade Terraform experience (8/10 expected)
Reusable module development
Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills
Terraform state management knowledge
DevOps & Automation
GitLab CI/CD (preferred)
GitHub Actions / Jenkins
Ansible automation
PowerShell and/or Shell scripting
Preferred Qualifications
Azure Certifications (Associate / Professional preferred)
Exposure to GCP or multi-cloud environments
Experience working in enterprise production environments
