Business Process Expert Consolidation/External Reporting plays a pivotal role in
Haleon’s SAP S/4HANA‑enabled Enterprise Transformation Programme, driving
material improvements in Finance effectiveness, compliance, and reporting
efficiency to support the Win as One strategy. Partners with Business Process
Owners and senior Finance stakeholders to design and govern high‑impact
Consolidation & External Reporting processes that deliver faster close, stronger
controls, regulatory confidence, and sustained business value. Role
Responsibilities Partner with the BPO to define the future‑state end‑to‑end
Consolidation & External Reporting process vision, roadmap, and design
principles. Manage current‑state processes, ensuring all changes align to the
agreed future state, regulatory requirements, and external reporting standards.
Lead process design activities, including documentation of “to‑be” processes and
assessment of “as‑is” processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, risks,
and duplication. Facilitate cross‑functional workshops to gather inputs, align
stakeholders, and drive high‑quality, user‑centric process design decisions.
Drive decision‑making through formal governance forums, ensuring timely
communication and alignment with programme milestones and interdependencies.
Support transition execution from current to future state, including interim
operating models, business continuity planning, and sustainable handover to
steady state. Enable adoption and benefits realisation by partnering with
Change, Training & Adoption teams to deliver clear documentation, training, and
readiness interventions. Support ongoing performance management, adoption
tracking, and continuous improvement to ensure committed benefits are realised
and sustained. Why you? Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in
finance/accounting (or related). 15+ years of proven experience in end-to-end
process design and governance across Finance data in a global organisation.
Strong experience in Finance process design and transformation, with focus on
Consolidation and External Reporting in complex, global organisations. Proven
ability to analyse end‑to‑end processes, identify control gaps and
inefficiencies, and translate requirements into clear process designs. Hands‑on
experience with process modelling tools, data analysis, and SAP‑enabled process
landscapes (SAP S/4HANA preferred). Experience working within structured
governance, programme delivery, and large‑scale transformation environments.
Preferred Qualifications: Professional qualification preferred
(ACA/CA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA/MBA). Experience in Consumer Health/FMCG and working
across multiple operating units/geographies. Strong stakeholder management
skills with the ability to influence across Finance, business units, and
transformation teams. Change and transition management capability, including
adoption, readiness, and business continuity considerations. Ability to operate
effectively in ambiguity, balancing strategic intent with pragmatic execution.
