performance-focused culture. About the role The Business Process Expert (BPE) –
Period End Close sits within Haleon’s Enterprise Transformation Programme and
shapes a robust, well-controlled and user-centric end-to-end close process
enabled through SAP S/4HANA. Partnering with the Business Process Owner (BPO)
and Finance stakeholders, you will govern process design decisions, drive the
transition from current to future ways of working, and enable sustained adoption
through clear documentation, training inputs and performance measures to realise
programme benefits. Role Responsibilities Partner with the Business Process
Owner (BPO) and Finance teams to design, govern and continuously improve the
end-to-end Period End Close process in SAP S/4HANA. Lead workshops to capture
requirements, validate pain points and socialise recommendations; refine and
finalise process designs with key stakeholders. Document “to-be” process maps,
controls and ways of working; assess “as-is” processes to identify bottlenecks,
inefficiencies and duplication. Drive decisions through governance forums, align
designs to programme milestones, and support readiness, training and interim
operating states to ensure business continuity and sustained adoption. Define
process performance measures for Period End Close; monitor adoption and
outcomes, and lead continuous improvement to realise and sustain benefits.
Engage and influence stakeholders across Finance, Operations and Technology;
communicate changes clearly and champion a user-centric close process vision.
Plan and support transition from current to future state through disciplined
change delivery, risk/issue management and effective feedback loops. Why you?
Basic Qualifications: ·Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting (or related).
·15+ years of experience designing, managing or improving end‑to‑end finance
processes, with strong exposure to Period End Close in complex environments.
·Proven expertise in business process design, documentation and governance,
including current‑state and future‑state definition. ·Hands‑on experience
supporting or delivering ERP‑enabled finance transformations, ideally SAP
S/4HANA. ·Strong analytical capability to assess process performance, identify
inefficiencies and drive data‑led improvements. ·Experience partnering with
Business Process Owners and senior Finance stakeholders to drive decisions and
outcomes. Preferred Qualifications: ·Professional qualification preferred
(ACA/CA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA/MBA). ·Experience working in Consumer Health/FMCG and
working across multiple operating units/geographies. Demonstrated ability to
lead change and adoption, including readiness, training inputs and transition to
new ways of working. Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills,
with the ability to tailor messages for different audiences. Comfortable
operating in multi‑year transformation programmes, balancing governance with
pace and pragmatism. Collaborative mindset with experience working across
