Job description: Sr. CAE Analyst

Location: Yelahnaka, Bangalore

What you’ll do

Experience in Two-Wheeler (Scooter and Motorcycle Chassis, Swingarm, Wheelrim, etc).

Interpretation of load cases and constraints and accurate force values acting on a scooter

chassis, swing arm and wheel rim and other components.

Should have knowledge on Joint strength analysis Hand Calculations, Bolt thread Strength

Analysis.

Sound Knowledge on Mechanics of materials, strong knowledge of SOM and hand

calculations, material selection for different components, Basic of Failure Modes and Effects

Analysis (FMEA) and Design of Experiment (DOE).

Should have hands on experience in Automotive Structural Linear and Non-Linear (Explicit

and Implicit) & Durability Analysis.

Should have hands on experience in Fatigue hand calculations and Fatigue Solvers (nCode,

FE-Safe, FEM-FAT etc).

Should have experience on Modal, Harmonic, non-linear Buckling, Crash, Drop test,

Impact, Rigid dynamics.

Should have experience in Modal and Harmonic Response Analysis of Scooter Style Parts

(Plastics).

Should have experience in topology optimisation using Altair Opti-struct and Ansys.
Altair Pre-Processing (Geometry Clean up, 2D and 3D meshing, Connections, solver deck

preparation).

Validation of FEA with Physical testing.
Experience in Noise and Vibration (NVH) is an added advantage.
Experience in Multi body dynamics using Altair Motion solve or Ansys motion is an added

advantage.

Experience in Multi physics (Fluid, structure, thermal and electromagnets) will be an added

advantage.

Experience in electric two-wheelers is preferable.

What You Bring

Minimum 4- 6+ years’ experience in the two-wheeler automotive segment as CAE Engineer.

BE / M-tech / Ms / PhD in Automotive, Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.

Skills

Ansys, hypermesh, Opti-struct, Radioss, Ls-Dyna, N-code Designlife.
