About the role Philips S&RC, India team is looking for a senior member of the commercial marketing team to fuel our growth story. Together with the sales team incumbent will be actively involved in implementing the go to market strategy & accelerate omnichannel performance. This is a key position in the marketing team, leading and directly influencing our strategic vision. We are looking for a highly skilled business manager with a proven ability to strategize the full product lifecycle. Additionally, you will be responsible for: Business Planning: Driving product planning and business forecasting process across and in collaboration with various functions of the organization. Business Intelligence: Gathering and analyzing market information to define existing market, map competition, current Rxber-patient trends, and potential partnership avenues, from insights. Analyze market data to develop sales strategies and define product objectives for effective marketing communication plan. Customer Connect: Understand and define customer personas, analyze consumer needs to define touchpoints across CDJ. Meet existing and prospective customers and partners to understand their needs and translate in depth market and customer insights into solutions and plan meaningful interventions to meet our customers’ needs short, mid, and long term. Propose & Manage: ATL-BTL activations, formulate upstream -downstream product strategy for the assigned portfolio. End to end campaign planning & execution in collaboration with all relevant functions. Market Expansion: NPI & General Product Management: Propose market relevant introductions & driving new product planning and launch execution, single handedly. Executing the Portfolio, Product & Clinical claims roadmaps. Drive the execution of all product lifecycle processes for products, including product research, market research, competitive analysis, planning, positioning, roadmap development, requirements development, and product launch. Commercial Policy: Pricing is a very critical part of this role. Tapping into the market and recommending contemporary comm. policies – deals, discounts, offers, bundles etc. to ensure competitive positioning. Also, propose product pricing to meet revenue and profitability goals. Ability to support B2B, hospital-institutional sales, government health agencies like Railways, PSUs etc. Strategic Planning: Work with external third parties to assess partnerships and licensing opportunities. Identify prospect clients arrange product demos, proposal submissions etc. Work closely with sales team to identify tender opportunities, adept at tender management – documentation, bid-process, pricing, liasoning with key govt. stakeholders, setting up a distribution network, training team members and leading end to end tender management processes Create product strategy documents that describe business cases, high-level use cases, technical requirements etc. Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to forecast, secure, and manage product allocations and manage resources across all channels to drive strong ROI. Requirements (proficiency in all above is non-negotiable) To succeed in this role, you’ll need a customer-first attitude and the following: Experience: 8+ years (in marketing or sales) with significant experience in a dynamic product management role, or sales manager role is preferred. Experience in health care/Pharma/med-tech is a must. Absolute Must - Data driven - insight(s) based approach; Numerically savvy. Exposure to govt. business, institutional sales is preferred Excellent written, interpersonal, and verbal communication skills Demonstrated ability to work in a matrixed environment. Project management approach with ability to prioritize tasks to drive business. Strong project management and interpersonal skills.
