Responsibilities

* Implementation project:

1. Setting up organization structure of material management and relevant
configuration like Purchase organization, valuation area plants, storage
location, and warehouse structure etc.

2. Finalization of material groups, purchasing groups, payment terms, Inco
terms, Pricing Procedure

3. Finalization of various numbers ranges for material master, vendor master
and all purchasing and inventory documents

4. Configuration of release procedure for purchasing document like Purchase
requisition and purchase order

5. Preparation of testing document and internal testing

6. Preparation of master data templates for various object like material
master, vendor master, excise master, Info-records, source list, purchase
order

7. Integration testing with other module PP, SD and FI/CO

8. Preparing the cut over strategy for MM object

9. Preparing the user manual and imparting training to business process owners

10. Go-live preparation and post go live support

* Support project:

1. Interaction with client through net meetings, calls & emails.   Handling
Tickets & Tasks and responsible for closing the same within defined SLAs
(Service Level Agreements)

2. Responsible for troubleshooting the issues in the system and providing
support

3. Executing the needed changes in configuration

4. Should have very good experience in S4 Hana Conversions and Upgrades

5. Executing the analysis and resolution of production support calls

6. Raising Change Requests (CRs) and writing functional specifications for
them

7. Preparing test data for testing CRs (Change Requests)

8. Testing CRs (Change Requests) and preparing test results

9. Carrying out regression testing

10. There will be some interaction with other modules consultants

11. Preparing test cases, test scenarios and solution documents for the issues

12. Strong knowledge in building logics to make customized reports according to
business scenarios

13. Strong blueprint creation skills which supports to configuration of
business scenarios

* Evaluate and amalgamate  research findings to develop valuable insights and
strategic recommendations for our client

* Expertise in effective search strategies to gather relevant data using a
broad set of resources such as on-line databases, the internet, internal
database, associations etc.

* Fulfill a variety of operational tasks using appropriate proprietary
application

* Monitor, coach and develop the team by sharing knowledge and providing
training as necessary

* Work closely with management in various processes / projects to ensure
communication and smooth implementation

 

 

Essential Skills

* Experience in Procurement / Inventory Domain, External Service Management,
Logistics Invoice Verification, Batch and Serial no. Management, Output
Determination, Cross Module Integration, Purchasing, Pricing, Release
Strategies

* Excellent written and verbal communication, analytical and critical-thinking
skills are essential

* Should be organized and focused on delivering research tasks within defined
deadlines

* Must be dynamic, flexible and possess perseverance skills

* Proficiency in customer relationship management

* Exhibit reactiveness and constructiveness at work such as, suggesting
