Content Designer

Summary:
We’re a team of enterprise admin-focused UX content designers and content strategists, looking for a versatile, tech-savvy content designer. The role involves shaping the future of SharePoint Admin Center, empowering frontier organizations to govern, secure, and optimize their content at scale. This enables admins to manage complex environments with clarity, confidence, and support safe AI adoption and robust governance for AI frontier firms.
Responsibilities:
Work with an interaction designer to craft copy for a feature or flow.
Conduct terminology exploration for new concepts.
Develop copy treatments for user research studies or in-product experiments.
Participate in design critiques of proposed features or scenarios.
Draft new entries for our term list and review them with the team.
Observe customer studies.
Write and edit friendly, clear UX copy with Teams brand flair.
Perform functional and editorial quality assurance on content.
Understand and effectively use our content model, content types, style guide, and brand voice.
Use multiple sources of customer data to inform strategic content direction and improvements.
Identify opportunities for content additions, improvements, and reuse/repackage and effectively pitch those ideas to the team and stakeholders.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Creative Writing, Journalism, or other literary/communication subjects.
5-7 years of experience in creating documentation for a technical audience.
5 years of experience writing end-user facing UX copy (applications, web, ecommerce, etc.).
Required Skills:
Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
Ability to read some programming code.
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
Proficiency with editing copy in design software like Figma.
North American English fluency.
Portfolio of writing and content samples.
