We at Coforge are seeking a “Cyber Security Expert " to lead IT security, risk management, and compliance initiatives. The role involves designing secure IT infrastructure, conducting audits, ensuring regulatory compliance, and safeguarding organizational IT assets across Data Center (DC), Disaster Recovery (DR), and remote environments.
Key Responsibilities:
1. IT Security Architecture & Design
Design and maintain secure, scalable, and compliant IT infrastructure.
Understand project requirements, technical specifications, and scope of work.
Ensure security integration across DC, DR, and remote sites.
Support implementation of advanced security solutions like Anti-APT, HIDS/HIPS, Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA).
Provide inputs for racking, stacking, and intelligent cabling aligned with future security needs.
2. Audit & Compliance Management
Conduct comprehensive IT audits to assess systems, processes, and controls.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, industry frameworks, and internal SoPs.
Prepare and maintain compliance documentation (ATP, SoP, audit records).
Identify gaps and recommend corrective actions for compliance adherence.
3. Risk Assessment & Control Evaluation
Perform risk assessments to identify threats to confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
Evaluate existing security controls and recommend enhancements.
Define and implement risk mitigation strategies.
Continuously review systems for vulnerabilities and control effectiveness.
4. Security Operations & Monitoring
Implement and manage cybersecurity controls and defense mechanisms.
Protect infrastructure from threats such as malware, phishing, unauthorized access, and cyber-attacks.
Ensure continuous monitoring of systems for incidents and breaches.
Support and coordinate VAPT (Vulnerability Assessment & Penetration Testing) activities.
5. Reporting & Documentation
Prepare detailed audit and security reports highlighting findings, risks, and remediation plans.
Communicate insights to management and stakeholders effectively.
Maintain updated security policies, procedures, and documentation.
6. Training & Awareness
Conduct security awareness programs and training sessions for employees.
Promote best practices in cybersecurity and compliance across the organization.
7. Stakeholder Collaboration
Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders for risk and compliance management.
Support cross-functional teams in addressing IT security challenges.
Drive coordination for successful implementation of security initiatives.
