What You’ll Do 🛠️

Track, process, and manage huge volumes of data (100M+ records/day).
Design and build systems to move data across multiple systems and make it available to Data Science, Analytics and Product teams.
Design, construct, test, and maintain reliable data management systems and pipelines.
Translate product/business metrics into usable, queryable datasets and data models.
Ensure systems meet business needs and follow industry best practices for quality, reliability, and security.
Recommend improvements to boost data reliability and data quality.
Stay current with data engineering trends and share best practices across the team.

What We’re Looking For ✅

Designation: Data Engineer I
Experience: 1-3 years in data engineering or related roles.
Degree: Bachelors/Masters in Computer Science or a related technical field (preferred).
Strong working knowledge of the Kafka ecosystem.
Solid programming experience, preferably Python (Java/Go a plus) and eagerness to learn.
Hands-on experience with large-data platforms, data lakes/warehouses (AWS S3, Redshift, Glue).
Deep experience writing complex and efficient ETL jobs.
Familiar with microservices architecture and building scalable backend systems.
Comfortable with version control (Git) and good communication skills.
Strong analytical thinking and high ownership mentality.
Intellectual curiosity and a knack for improving data quality and integrity.

Brownie points ✨

Experience with AWS Kinesis, ElasticSearch, or Snowplow.
Familiarity with CI/CD and infra management.
