About the Role:
 
As a Data Scientist within our Data Analytics CoE, you'll be at the intersection of data science,risk consulting, and business strategy. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliverdata-driven solutions that enhance our risk consulting offerings and create value for our clients.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 

Deliver powerful insights for risk consulting engagements by leveraging advanced dataanalytics, machine learning, and statistical modeling techniques
Perform extensive exploratory data analysis on structured and unstructured data frommultiple sources to identify trends and relationships that enrich our offerings
Develop and maintain predictive models for refinement and extension of Swiss ReSolutions Risk Consulting & Analytics tools and offerings
Design interactive dashboards and visualizations that effectively communicate complexdata-driven insights to non-technical stakeholders
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including risk consultants, project managers, andbusiness management to align analytics efforts with business goals
Identify process improvement opportunities and implement automation solutions toenhance efficiency

 
About the Team:
 
The Data Analytics Center of Excellence (CoE) team sits within the Risk Consulting and Analyticssub-division under the Risk Data Solutions division. Our team specializes in transformingcomplex data into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making across risk consultingengagements. We combine advanced analytics, machine learning, and industry expertise todevelop innovative solutions that address our clients' most challenging risk managementproblems.
 
About You:
 
You're a curious problem-solver who thrives in a collaborative environment. You have a passionfor translating complex data into clear insights and enjoy working at the intersection oftechnology and business. Your analytical mindset is balanced with strong communication skillsthat allow you to convey technical concepts to diverse audiences effectively.
 
We are looking for candidates who meet these requirements:
 

Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field with 5+ years of experience in datascience
Proficiency in SQL, Python, and Spark for data processing and transformation
Strong command of machine learning algorithms and classification/regression techniques
Experience with visualization tools, particularly Power BI for building interactive dashboards
Ability to produce high-quality, secure, and maintainable code in an agile environment (GIT,etc.)

 
These are additional nice to haves:
 

Experience in the general insurance sector, especially Casualty, Commercial, or SpecialtyInsurance lines of business
Experience handling unstructured data, performing entity resolution, and fuzzy mapping
Prior experience with MS Azure platform and services (Data bricks, ADF, and Power BI)
Experience working in consulting projects with direct client interaction
Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to work in interdisciplinary environments
Self-starter mentality with excellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines

 
Our company has a hybrid work model where the expectation is that you will be in the office atleast three days per week
