Business is looking to appoint a number of Highways BIM Designer’s to support
the delivery of complex civil engineering and multidisciplinary designs across a
range of major projects. Drawing upon a diverse skill set and a proven track

role Responsibilities Produce AutoCAD and MicroStation 2D drawings and other
deliverables. Actively contribute to project design development by contributing
to internal coordination. Produce all types of Highways discipline 2D Drawings
and other deliverables. Perform self-assurance of all Highways discipline
drawing and model deliverables. Provide quality control for compliance to
company/project standards of deliverables. Maintain a high level of competency
of all BIM software tools used at AtkinsRéalis. About you Requirements A
Bachelor’s degree or Diploma holder in Civil Engineering with minimum of 4 to 6
years of industry experience, preferably in the Highways Domain. Must be an
advanced user or expert user in Autodesk AutoCAD, Civil3D, and Bentley
MicroStation with a minimum of 2 to 3 years. AutoCAD experience must, detailed
understanding of the CAD user interface and all its features to perform.
MicroStation experience must, detailed understanding of the MicroStation user
interface and all its features to perform. Technical proficiency in the use of
the latest common CDE systems: Bentley ProjectWise and Autodesk Vault. Must be
well versed in best practices for use of Autodesk AutoCAD, and Bentley
MicroStation and other industry standard BIM platforms. Track record in BIM
design and coordination including multidisciplinary projects and ideally
demonstrable experience within a Civil Engineering Design environment
particularly the Highways domain. Technical awareness/knowledge of engineering
design issues including awareness of health and safety risks. Qualifications and
attributes Excellent time management skills. Experience of using written and
spoken English within a business environment. A Bachelor’s degree or Diploma
holder in Civil Engineering with minimum of 4 to 5 years of industry experience,
preferably in the Highways Domain. Constantly striving towards continuous
