a global Software Project Management Office (SW PMO) responsible for portfolio
planning, program execution governance, and on-time delivery of highly complex
IoT software-enabled product solutions. This role sets strategy, establishes
execution discipline, and drives continuous improvement across software and
product development while influencing outcomes across R&D, Product Management,
and Business teams. Essential Functions Lead and develop a global team of
technical program and project managers; establish vision, mission, and
objectives aligned with PMO and corporate strategy. Build strong leadership
capability within the team through mentoring, coaching, and performance
management. Partner with R&D, Product Management, and Business leadership to
drive portfolio and roadmap alignment. Own and continuously improve planning
frameworks spanning concept, development, release, and product delivery. Define
and mature prioritization, planning, and execution models that balance scope,
schedule, cost, and quality. Lead portfolio-level planning and execution
governance across the organization. Enforce continuous planning practices
constrained by realistic resource capacity and critical-path awareness. Ensure
disciplined scope, change, dependency, and risk management across programs.
Drive proactive identification of risks and deviations, and lead mitigation and
recovery actions to protect delivery commitments. Establish metrics, KPIs, and
decision data to enable fact-based execution and portfolio decisions. Evangelize
modern software and product development practices and provide executive-level
communication on status, risks, and outcomes. Director-Level Scope &
Accountability Accountable for driving the release of multiple software SDKs and
capabilities through globally distributed teams. Broad operational and strategic
impact beyond the PMO. Participates with senior leadership in defining long-term
strategy, operating models, and execution frameworks. Makes final decisions on
operational and administrative matters within scope. Decisions have long-term
impact on company performance, delivery credibility, and customer outcomes.
Complexity & Leadership Drives innovation in PMO practices and product
development ways of working. Leads effectively through ambiguity, complexity,
and change. Builds high-trust, high-performance teams and leadership bench
strength. Ensures budgets, schedules, and commitments meet corporate
requirements. Leads primarily through influence across organizational
boundaries. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in EE, CE, CS, or related technical
field. Advanced degree or MBA and Project Management certifications desired. 8+
years of project or program management leadership experience. Experience in
direct Embedded Software development desired. Experience with complex
semiconductor software development. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Strong
leadership, communication, and influencing skills. Deep expertise in project and
program management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Critical Path/Chain, EVM).
Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Project, and Excel. Ability
to operate effectively across globally distributed, cross-functional teams.
Proven ability to anticipate risk, align stakeholders, and deliver results.
