About the Role:

We are seeking a Mid-Level Observability Engineer to implement, maintain and optimize our enterprise monitoring ecosystem. You will work closely with engineering teams to enhance system visibility, build automation and ensure application reliability.

Requirements

Experience: Minimum 5 years of dedicated experience in performance monitoring and observability engineering.
APM Platforms: Proven hands-on experience configuring, managing, and troubleshooting Dynatrace and alternative APM tools.
Open Telemetry: Practical experience instrumenting diverse data sources to transmit traces, metrics, and logs to target endpoints.
Automation: Strong proficiency in writing and maintaining automation scripts using Python and Shell.
SRE Partnership: Experience collaborating with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) teams to define and track Service Level Objectives (SLOs).
Cloud Infrastructure: Solid understanding of monitoring resources within cloud platforms like AWS, Microsoft Azure, or GCP.
ITSM & CMDB: Familiarity with ServiceNow integrations, specifically leveraging CMDB data for contextual alerting.
Certification (Preferred): Dynatrace Associate or Professional certification is highly desirable.
