Job Description: 1. Problem Definition & Issue Management : (i) Lead problem definition for field issues using a structured and data-driven approach . (ii) Analyze field failure trends and identify high-impact issues. (iii) Assign the actions to relevant engineering and manufacturing functions to address design or process gaps. 2. Root Cause Analysis (RCA) : (i) Conduct root cause analysis with cross-functional teams. (ii) Use tools such as 8D, Fishbone, and 5-Why. 3. 8D Process Management - Execute end-to-end 8D documentation -Ensure closure of all disciplines including Field upgrade tracking. 4. Sustainable Solution Implementation : (i) Implement corrective actions for field and production issues. (ii) Validate effectiveness and prevent recurrence. 5. Field Support & Investigation : (i) Support field work procedures. (ii) Execute and participate joint field investigations. 6. E2E Field Deficiency Report (FDR) handling : (i) Consolidate FDR reports. (ii) Drive end-to-end lifecycle management of FDR. 7. Cross-Functional Collaboration ; (i) Work with design, manufacturing, suppliers, and service teams (ii) Coordinate management meetings with CFT members. Preferred candidate profile BE in Electrical & Electronics Engineering with 2 to 5 years of experience required. Functional Skills - RCA, 8D, data analysis, MS Office; usage of statistical tools including Minitab and Weibull analysis is an advantage. Strong expertise in electrical systems, wiring, power distribution, embedded systems, ECU's and communication protocols.
