Role Overview
We are looking for a highly driven and execution focused Executive-B2B Logistics Operations to manage and optimize our B2B order fulfilment and distribution operations. This role is critical in ensuring on time, accurate deliveries to key business partners, directly impacting revenue realization.
This is a hands on role in a fast paced startup environment, requiring ownership, problem solving mindset, and the ability to work with ambiguity.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Logistics Coordination
Work closely with 3PL partners, transporters, and courier partners for B2B shipments
Plan and execute primary & secondary transportation
Optimize shipment planning for cost, speed, and efficiency
2. On-Time Delivery (OTD) Ownership
Track shipments proactively to ensure high On Time Delivery (OTD)
Identify delays, escalate issues, and drive quick resolution
Maintain daily reports for dispatch vs delivery performance
3. Stakeholder Management
Act as the single point of contact between:
i. Sales / Key Account Managers
ii. Logistics partners
Ensure clear communication on order status, delays, and exceptions
4. Exception Handling & Problem Solving
Handle issues like:
i. Delivery Delays
ii. Damages/shortages
iii. POD Issues
Drive RCA and implement corrective actions
5. Documentation & Compliance
Ensure accuracy of:
i. Invoices
ii. E-way Bills
iii. Delivery Challans
Maintain proper documentation for audits and partner requirements
6. Cost Monitoring & Optimization
Track freight costs and identify leakages
Work on cost saving initiatives without impacting service levels
7. Data & Reporting
Maintain and analyse key metrics:
i. Fill Rate
ii. OTD %
iii. Cost per Shipment
iv. RTO Shipments
