Join us to do the best work of your career and make a profound social impact as
an Export Compliance Senior Advisor on our Trade Compliance team in Bangalore,
India
What you’ll achieve
In a rapidly evolving geopolitical landscape, export controls have never been
more important. Global export controls are undergoing a fundamental
transformation. Regulatory bodies are moving beyond traditional multilateral
frameworks to impose new, autonomous controls on cutting-edge technologies
making export compliance one of the most dynamic and strategically important
areas in trade today.
Reporting to the EMEA Trade Compliance Director, you will be part of a team that
manages both import and export compliance activities across EMEA. You will have
the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing regulatory
environment, collaborating with internal teams such as Legal, Logistics, and
Tax, as well as external partners and government agencies to support and enable
growth while maintaining an exceptional level of compliance.
You will:
* Make informed decisions about the types of export licences needed to export
Dell products outside of the EU, navigating the latest EU Dual-Use Control
List updates — including expanded controls on emerging technologies such as
semiconductors, and advanced materials.
* Participate in the process of submitting export licence applications and
managing the end-to-end process.
* Provide strategic guidance on export compliance requirements to internal
stakeholders, translating complex regulations into practical, actionable
advice.
* Lead and support cross-functional initiatives to strengthen and enhance both
our regional and global compliance programmes.
* Monitor and interpret national control list developments across EU Member
States, including changes arising from the EU's evolving autonomous control
measures.
* Build and maintain effective working relationships with government
authorities, regulatory bodies, and industry peers across the EU and beyond.
* Advise leadership on risk exposure and emerging regulatory trends in real
time.

* Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex, technical
regulations to diverse audiences across all levels of the organisation.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and risk management skills
* A strong focus on modernisation and process improvement.
