The Faculty member in Product Design / UX/UI will teach, mentor, and contribute to curriculum development in design thinking, user experience, interface design, interaction design, product strategy, and digital prototyping. The role requires a blend of academic capability, creative practice, and industry awareness, with the ability to prepare students for contemporary design careers.

Key Responsibilities
Teach undergraduate and/or postgraduate courses in product design, UX/UI, interaction design, visual design, and design research.
Guide students through concept development, prototyping, usability testing, and portfolio creation.
Integrate design thinking, human-centered design, and systems thinking into pedagogy.
Develop and update curriculum to reflect industry practice and emerging tools.
Supervise studios, projects, internships, and capstone work.
Maintain an active creative or professional practice through research, publications, exhibitions, patents, or industry collaborations.
Contribute to academic administration, mentoring, and student assessment.
Collaborate with faculty across technology, business, and interdisciplinary programs.
Engage with industry to create live projects, workshops, and design partnerships.
Qualifications and Experience
Master’s degree in Design, Product Design, Interaction Design, HCI, UX/UI, or a related field; PhD preferred for senior appointments.
Demonstrated expertise in product design and/or UX/UI through teaching, practice, research, or industry experience.
Strong portfolio of design work and/or published research.
Experience with relevant tools and methodologies such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, prototyping workflows, user research, and usability testing.
Prior teaching experience in higher education is preferred.
