Job Description:
About the Staff Accountant, Revenue The Staff Accountant, Revenue, is a key member of the Revenue Team responsible for supporting the full order to cash cycle. This role operates in a fast paced, high volume, deadline driven environment and requires strong collaboration across multiple departments. The position focuses on accurate revenue reporting, timely billing, collections support, and maintaining high-quality financial data in accordance with GAAP.
Responsibilities include:
Assisting in the month-end revenue close process, in accordance with GAAP
Review monthly billing for reporting accuracy
Providing support for annual audit, including preparing supporting schedule
Generate and issue customer invoices based on contracts, purchase orders, time records, or system data
Verify pricing, quantities, service dates, tax applicability, and required supporting documentation
Enter and maintain customer billing information in ERP and CRM
Monitor aging reports and follow up on past due balances to improve cash flow and reduce DSO
Communicate with customers to resolve payment delays/issues, questions, etc.
Assist in applying customer payments, researching unapplied cash, and clearing deductions
Working cross-functionally with the Services, Sales, and other Teams across the organisation About You As the Staff Accountant, Revenue, you will have excellent verbal and written communications, high attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
Additionally, you will:
Be proficient in MS Office Suite, including advanced Excel skills
Have the ability to analyze large sets of data with accuracy and clarity
Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills when partnering with internal and external stakeholders
Have experience with accounting software and ERP systems;
NetSuite experience is a strong plus.
