About the Role

At Altius we are hiring for a critical leadership role in Finance for the position of Lead - Fixed Assets & Compliances.

Responsibilities
Review all fixed assets capitalization / decapitalization (including retirement, scrapping and sale) and provide approvals (based on delegation of authority) on an ongoing basis.
Ensure compliance with all regulations, Indian and US GAAP and auditor requirements.
Review and ensure that appropriate physical verification of fixed assets is completed as per requirements to ensure accurate records in the books of accounts.
Manage all activities relating to Fixed Asset accounting and reporting and ensure adherence with the Monthly Reporting Calendar.
Track status of pending insurance claims and manage escalations to recover amounts due from the insurance company / broker.
Oversee that necessary support relating to fixed asset accounting is provided to the internal and statutory auditors in a timely and transparent manner.

Qualifications

Education: Chartered Accountant
Experience: 10+ years of experience in Finance function, with at least 2-3 years in a managerial role
