Key Responsibilities
Fund Accounting & Reporting
Maintain general ledger
Perform daily, monthly, and quarterly fund accounting
Prepare NAV calculations
Prepare investor allocations and capital account statements
Record capital calls, distributions, management fees, and carried interest accurately
Financial Statements & Compliance
Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements (IFRS/US GAAP)
Coordinate with auditors for year-end audits
Resolve audit queries promptly
Ensure compliance with regulations and client requirements
Investor Reporting
Prepare investor reports
Prepare capital call and distribution notices
Maintain investor records
Respond to investor queries in a timely manner
Cash Management
Review payment templates
Perform first-level approval of templates
Review payment packs
Monitor cash positions
Process payments for investments, fees, and expenses
Reconcile bank accounts and investment positions
Process Improvement & Controls
Assist in implementing best practices
Improve operational efficiency
Ensure strong internal controls
Ensure adherence to policies
Key Requirements
Education
CA / CPA / ACCA preferred
Experience
1–3 years of fund accounting experience
Experience in Private Equity or Alternative Investments preferred
Familiarity with partnership accounting and waterfall calculations
Technical Skills
Knowledge of Investran, eFront, or Yardi
Knowledge of IFRS/US GAAP
Understanding of Private Equity fund structures
