Under Health theme, we support organisations in the community health, palliative care and others. We also support public spirited hospitals in strengthening and upgradations.

Responsibilities:
Building a portfolio of civil society partners / hospitals working in community health with focus on comprehensive primary care
Engaging with pioneering institutions in select sectors of health care and working with them to stitch together value-in-itself grant, which has potential learning and replication values in those spheres
Developing grant proposals for multiyear grants, conducting thorough due diligences, and ensuring timely disbursals
Sharing partner learnings and experiences from the ground with the broader team. Capturing insights and lessons learnt regularly in easy to disseminate forms
Helping partners to track and capture effects of their work in alignment with the overall framework in Azim Premji Foundation – Health unit
Facilitating and managing a forum/network for partners working in community health and engaging with the public health system

What do we look for:

Experience of working in public health and/or community health for at least 5 year
Demonstrated ability to work with diverse stakeholders, including NGOs, donors and subject matter experts.
Desirable: Experience in public systems (Health) engagement, prior experience in grant-making.
Travel: Only those who are willing to travel 40-50% of the time should apply.
Education / qualification: Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
Years of experience: 8 - 15 years.
