ROLE PURPOSE
The HR Generalist plays a critical role in delivering efficient and compliant HR
Operations support across key functional areas, including payroll, statutory
compliance, employee life cycle management, and employee services.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
HR Operations & Payroll Support
* Provide day-to-day HR Operations support covering payroll administration,
compensation inputs, onboarding, employee relations support, and employee
exit processes.
* Liaise with payroll service providers to ensure accurate and timely payroll
processing in line with defined calendars and compliance requirements.
* Validate payroll inputs, perform quality checks, and support resolution of
payroll-related discrepancies.
Time Office & Attendance Management
* Monitor and audit time office and absence management reports through the HCM
system.
* Ensure timely closure of attendance data and coordinate with stakeholders to
address exceptions or data gaps.
Statutory Compliance & Administration
* Support timely statutory administration, including PF and ESI enrolments,
exits, claims, and portal updates.
* Maintain statutory records, registers, returns, and documentation to ensure
ongoing compliance.
* Coordinate statutory benefit closures and support full and final settlement
activities for exiting employees.
Employee Life Cycle Management
* Process employee data for joiners, movers, and leavers, ensuring accuracy
across all HR systems.
* Provide operational support from onboarding through exit, collaborating with
HR lifecycle teams as required.
HR Systems & Data Management
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee data in HRIS and relevant
databases.
* Audit employee records and documentation to ensure data integrity,
completeness, and compliance.
Employee Services & Stakeholder Support
* Manage HR helpdesk queries related to payroll, benefits, insurance
enrolments, statutory deductions, and HR processes.
* Provide clear guidance to employees and internal stakeholders on HR policies,
processes, and timelines.

* Payroll and statutory activities are executed accurately, on time, and with
zero compliance issues.
* Employee records and HR data are complete, accurate, and audit-ready at all
times.
* Internal stakeholders receive timely, clear, and solution-oriented HR

throughout their lifecycle.
* HR operational processes demonstrate continuous improvement and efficiency.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
EXPERIENCE & CAPABILITY
* Demonstrated capability in HR Operations and Generalist responsibilities
across payroll, statutory compliance, and employee life cycle management.
* Experience working closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors in
a service-oriented HR environment.
TECHNICAL STRENGTH
* Working knowledge of statutory frameworks and portals (e.g., PF, ESI).
* Experience using HRIS/ERP systems; exposure to Oracle-based systems is an
advantage.
* Strong proficiency in MS Office tools, particularly Excel, for reporting and
data validation.
