teams. You will help shape secure, scalable cloud solutions that support
Emerson’s customers across industries worldwide—while enjoying the stability of
a Fortune 500 organization and the challenge of working within a diverse,
international, and matrixed environment.
This role offers flexibility through a hybrid work model, enabling you to work
remotely one day per week while collaborating in person with highly motivated
colleagues who are passionate about delivering secure, award‑winning technology.

identify security risks and recommend practical mitigations
• Guide and mentor development teams on secure design principles and secure
coding practices
• Facilitate engaging security awareness sessions and workshops for developers,
architects, and leaders
• Review requirements and source code to identify and address application‑level
security vulnerabilities
• Define and influence security requirements for cloud‑based software platforms

• Collaborate with internal cybersecurity teams across business units,
geographies, and organizational levels, as well as with external partners
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of cloud security processes while
supporting compliance with IEC 62443‑3‑3, IEC 62443‑4‑1, CSA, and NIS2
requirements
• Participate in internal and external audits and standards‑based assessments
• Perform hands‑on coding when needed to support security objectives and
proof‑of‑concept solutions
• Support cybersecurity documentation and review activities, including EU Cyber
Resilience Act (CRA) compliance for cloud platforms
Who You Are:
You build trust through open collaboration and value diverse perspectives when
solving complex problems. You translate complex security concepts into clear,
actionable guidance that helps teams make confident decisions. You take
initiative, continuously seek to improve how security is embedded into
development practices, and remain adaptable in a fast‑evolving technology
landscape. You are energized by mentoring others and contributing to secure
outcomes that have real‑world impact.
For This Role, You Will Need:
• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or
a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Demonstrated hands‑on professional coding experience, ideally within
cloud‑based environments
• Strong experience with secure software development lifecycle practices and
application security design principles
• Practical experience performing application‑level threat modeling and secure
code reviews
• Working knowledge of cryptography concepts, including PKI and certificate
management
• Awareness of current malware trends and emerging cybersecurity threats
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain
technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
• Experience in industrial, automotive, or operational technology (OT)
environments such as ICS or SCADA
• Cloud security or architecture certifications (for example, Microsoft Azure
Security Engineer or Cybersecurity Architect certifications, or equivalent)
• Experience working with cloud‑native technology stacks and modern application
architectures
• Exposure to DevSecOps practices and CI/CD automation within active production
platforms
• Familiarity with EU Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) requirements, IEC 62443
