Lead Full Stack Engineer

Ciklum is looking for a Lead Full Stack Engineer to join our team full-time in
India.

About the role:

We are looking for a highly skilled Lead Full Stack Engineer to drive the design
and development of scalable, high-performance web applications. You will play a
key role in architecting end-to-end solutions, mentoring engineers, and
collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver modern digital experiences.

Responsibilities:

* Lead the design and development of full stack applications using React and
Python (FastAPI)
* Architect scalable, secure, and high-performance systems using microservices
architecture
* Build and maintain robust RESTful APIs and backend services
* Develop responsive, high-quality user interfaces with modern UI/UX frameworks
* Implement efficient state management solutions (Redux, Context API, etc.)
* Drive best practices in coding, testing, performance optimization, and
security
* Work with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical
solutions
* Mentor and guide junior and mid-level engineers
* Ensure seamless integration between frontend and backend systems
* Handle real-time communication using WebSockets and async programming

Requirements:

* Strong expertise in React (must-have)
* Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript
* Experience with state management (Redux, Context API, or similar)
* Hands-on experience with modern UI libraries/frameworks (Material UI, Ant
Design, etc.)
* Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and JSON integration
* Strong experience in Python (mandatory)
* Hands-on expertise in FastAPI (mandatory)
* Experience in designing and building RESTful APIs
* Solid understanding of microservices architecture
* Experience with asynchronous programming and WebSockets

Desirable:

* Strong understanding of system design and distributed systems
* Experience with cloud platforms like AWS/Azure/GCP is a plus
* Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
* Excellent problem-solving and leadership skills
* Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
