Lead JavaScript Engineer

Ciklum is looking for a Lead JavaScript Engineer to join our team full-time in
India.

About the role:

As a Lead JavaScript Engineer, become a part of a cross-functional development
team engineering experiences of tomorrow to contribute to the development of a
production-ready platform. The technical vision focuses on building two core
pillars:

* A scalable Marketplace
* A robust and consistent Workflow Engine

Responsibilities:

* Develop high-quality, scalable UI components based on provided design
prototypes
* Lead frontend development using React.js and Next.js
* Collaborate closely with backend developers to integrate APIs and build
end-to-end solutions
* Ensure performance, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility
* Take ownership of frontend architecture and technical decisions
* Participate in code reviews and maintain coding best practices

Requirements:

* 10+ years of relevant experience in frontend/UI development
* Strong expertise in JavaScript (ES6+), React.js, and Next.js
* Proven experience in UI development and building responsive web applications
* Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and modern frontend frameworks
* Experience working with REST APIs and backend integration
* Ability to lead development efforts and work in a collaborative environment
* Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Desirable:

* Experience with state management libraries (Redux, Zustand, etc.)
* Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern development tools
* Understanding of performance optimization and SEO best practices in Next.js
