Partner with the best As a Lead Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and improving mechanical components and systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, contribute to product performance activities, and ensure engineering excellence through quality, compliance, and innovation. This role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and ownership of engineering deliverables. As a lead Mechanical engineer you will be responsible for : Translating technical concepts in Wellbore Completion into functional, manufacturable, and reliable tools and equipment. Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies using CAD tools (SolidWorks, Creo, NX) for application in Completions and Wellbore Intervention (CWI). Perform engineering analyses including stress, fatigue, thermal, and tolerance studies. Ensuring all designs and drawings comply with company standards and industry codes, such as API (American Petroleum Institute) and ISO, particularly regarding tolerance and material specifications. Updating and revising drawings based on feedback, field service reports, and operational modifications. Maintaining proper document control, versioning, and generation of Bills of Materials (BOMs). Ensuring client needs are met with product requirements. Efficiently convey technical information to both internal and external clients and stakeholders. Supporting manufacturing and assembly of tools, parts and technologies. Support procurement and quality, answering quality notifications and providing workable solutions to supply chain support requests. Providing CWI product related expertise to answer queries from Service Delivery, Product line and Operations regarding contracts, tenders and application issues. Working with CWI NPD team to assist/lead new and ongoing projects to leverage knowledge sharing and improve time to market new technologies in alignment with business needs. Applying Health, Safety & Environment (HS&E) standards in all activities Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will: Have a Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field from an accredited university or college. Have 5 years of work experience in Oil and Gas industry, and 3 years of experience in wellbore Completions technologies. Have Strong understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals. Should be Proficient in SolidWorks. Have experience in design and analysis through academic or professional projects. Have Knowledge of GD&T, materials, and manufacturing processes. Have Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Have Good communication and teamwork abilities Preferred Qualifications Have experience with simulation tools such as ANSYS or Abaqus Have familiarity with PLM systems Have knowledge of manufacturing processes (machining, casting, molding) Have experience in New Product Development (NPD) Have understanding of quality tools such as FMEA or root cause analysis Work in a way that works for you We recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
