Job Description: Designation – Lead- Investment Finance Shift Timing – 3.30 PM to 12.00 AM Education and Experience Full time MBA (Finance); CFA/CA/FRM preferred or in progress Around 5 – 8 years of experience in valuation of equity or Fixed Income securities. Interest in Financial analysis / investments Sound knowledge of Bloomberg database Nice to have - Matlab programming, VBA, Power BI, python, Database / SQL Preferred - Knowledge of Fixed Income / Basic derivatives, various Swaps, Bond DCF or Valuation knowledge / experience, Aladdin / Blackrock systems, Finastra-Summit Private Fixed Income Operations is a department within the Investment Services and Operations Group at SLC Management that is responsible for the administration and reporting of all non-public investments and loans to corporations situated in various locations globally. The investment portfolio of approximately $41 billion includes bonds, debentures, limited partnerships, lease securitization and project financing. Role – The Private Fixed Income Valuation role is responsible for delivering independent, well‑governed valuations of illiquid private debt assets—including infrastructure debt, corporate loans, credit tenant leases, asset‑backed securities, and other bespoke financings. The role oversees the end‑to‑end pricing lifecycle, including daily checks, monthly/quarterly valuation processes, exception resolution, and methodology oversight. It ensures that valuations are accurate, defensible, and compliant, through robust monitoring, price challenges, spread and comparable analysis, and alignment with internal governance policies and external methodologies. The function works closely with external valuators, Investment Accounting, Front Office, and Risk teams to maintain valuation integrity across global portfolios. Skills/Capabilities Practical knowledge of valuation methods especially fixed income (DCF, matrix pricing, broker quotes) and market data sources Ability to understand financial analysis / investments / valuation process Basic Maths / Quants knowledge Advanced Excel; Comfort with large datasets Working Knowledge of Power BI, VBA is a plus Analytical ability to evaluate data trends and performance Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office Ability to learn fast and replicate the best practices Ability to learn via remote training and effectively deliver the same Decision making ability supported with data Able to manage multiple priorities and conflicting deadlines Demonstrate problem solving abilities and Ability to “think on your feet” Analytical with high attention to details Knowledge of client management / stakeholder management Responsibilities Valuation Operations: Assist in the operations of the Private Fixed Income valuation process, on a daily and monthly basis Track and review daily price movements across assigned asset classes, identify anomalies, and ensure timely escalation and remediation. Ad-hoc Analysis: Fixed Income valuation related, operational and production issues Liaison with North American Valuation and possibly other teams (Operations and Accounting) for reporting, troubleshooting data and process issues Consult with various teams on a wide range of Fixed Income, and analytical requests Review pricing exceptions, challenge questionable prices, document rationale, and ensure approvals are aligned with internal valuation policies and governance standards Coordinate structured price challenges with pricing vendors, brokers, and internal stakeholders; maintain transparent evidence and track outcomes to ensure pricing quality. Deliver accurate price files for month/quarter close, support valuation‑related audit queries, and operate SOX/ICFR controls with strong documentation rigor.
