Accountabilities: Provide proactive counsel across data privacy, employment, real estate, social media, ethics, and other general legal matters, keeping operations aligned with evolving laws and standards. Supervise statutory obligations, identify control gaps, and drive corrective actions; brief leadership on emerging developments and translate risk into clear business implications. Supervise legal disputes with effective reporting, critical issue, and resolution support that protects enterprise value and key relationships. Partner with Procurement and Business teams to draft, review, negotiate, and complete commercial agreements; enhance templates and reporting to improve consistency, control, and decision quality. Develop policies and legal documentation that strengthen operational governance and compliance frameworks, enabling efficient and scalable growth. Design and implement a comprehensive compliance program aligned with regional and global standards; deliver policies, processes, training, and support that embed compliant behaviors across teams. Serve as the primary contact on compliance matters, supporting day-to-day decision-making; facilitate investigations and audits, and drive timely remediation of identified gaps. Lead board and general meeting processes and ensure full compliance with corporate secretarial obligations; partner with leadership to enhance risk governance and advise strategic choices. Supervise legal budgets and spend, support audit requirements, provide timely management reporting, and ensure secure maintenance of legal records. Essential Skills/Experience: 3-5 years’ experience in a multicultural company Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to handle and prioritize time sensitive tasks in a high-paced environment Good teammate with ability to operate independently and collaboratively Ability to build trusted working relationships with stakeholders Outstanding written and verbal communication skills High level of integrity, professionalism and attention to detail Bachelor’s degree in law from a reputed university Desirable Skills/Experience: Qualified Company Secretary Experience in pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, or other highly regulated industries Proven expertise in data privacy, anti-bribery/anti-corruption, and competition law frameworks Familiarity with contract lifecycle management tools and legal operations reporting Prior experience supporting board governance and enterprise risk management When we put unexpected teams in the same room, we unleash bold thinking with the power to inspire life-changing medicines.
