Legal Counsel

About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and business-oriented Legal Counsel at TAC Security. The role involves advising on corporate, commercial, regulatory, and cybersecurity-related legal matters while enabling business growth in a fast-paced tech environment.
Key Responsibilities
Contract Management:
Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of agreements including NDAs, vendor contracts, client agreements, SaaS contracts, and partnership agreements.
Regulatory & Compliance:
Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including data protection, cybersecurity, and IT laws (e.g., Labour Laws, Indian IT Act).
Legal Advisory:
Provide legal guidance to internal stakeholders on business operations, risk mitigation, and strategic initiatives.
Corporate Governance:
Support corporate legal matters including board documentation, statutory filings, and corporate structuring.
Risk Management:
Identify legal risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, especially in cybersecurity and data privacy domains.
Litigation Management:
Coordinate with external counsel on disputes, litigation, and regulatory matters.
Policy Development:
Draft and implement internal legal policies, compliance frameworks, and standard operating procedures.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB); LLM preferred
4–8 years of relevant legal experience (law firm or in-house, preferably in tech/cybersecurity)
Strong knowledge of contract law, corporate law, and data protection regulations
Experience handling international contracts is a plus
