Role Overview
The Management Trainee – HR will gain hands-on exposure across multiple HR functions supporting the East business. The role is designed to provide practical experience in core HR operations, employee engagement, talent management, business partnering, and people processes.
The trainee will undergo a structured one-year journey beginning with business and operations induction, followed by exposure across different HR verticals through on-the-job learning and project-based assignments. Post successful completion of the program, the individual may be absorbed into a business-facing HR role based on performance and organizational requirements.
This opportunity is ideal for candidates looking to build a strong foundation in Human Resources while working closely with experienced HR and business leaders in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
PROGRAM STRUCTURE
2 Months – Business & Operations Induction
Exposure to Operations and Sales functions
Understanding of business operations across locations
Field and business immersion across PAN India locations, as applicable
10 Months – HR Functional Exposure
Hands-on exposure across different HR verticals including:
Talent Acquisition
HR Business Partnering
Learning & Development
Employee Engagement
HR Shared Services
Participation in live projects and HR initiatives
Guidance and mentorship through on-the-job learning
Performance Review & Business Absorption
Evaluation based on performance, learning agility, and business alignment
Opportunity for role absorption within the HR function post successful completion of the program
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
End-to-end recruitment coordination from sourcing to onboarding
Supporting new hire induction and employee onboarding processes
Coordination and facilitation of employee engagement initiatives
Assisting in performance management processes across functions
Working with stakeholders to support HR interventions and people initiatives
Identifying learning needs and coordinating training programs with L&D teams
Supporting employee relations and disciplinary processes, wherever required
Contributing to HR analytics, reports, and process improvement initiatives
Driving HR operational excellence and employee experience initiatives
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
Graduate in any discipline
MBA / PGDM in Human Resources from a premier B-School
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE / ELIGIBILITY
Freshers graduating in the current academic year are eligible to apply
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Analytical thinking and problem-solving orientation
Creative mindset with willingness to learn and adapt
High ownership and stakeholder management capability
Willingness to travel and work closely with business teams, if required
