Job Title: Manager, Accounting Introduction to role: Are you ready to lead intercompany accounting that underpins fast, accurate financial decisions for therapies that change lives? As Manager, Accounting in Bangalore, you will build the integrity of our global results, bringing rigor and clarity to complex flows across our rare disease portfolio. Your work will help leadership allocate resources with confidence and keep our focus on patients who need us most. Embedded in a high-performing Controllers community and reporting to the Associate Director, Accounting, you will partner with Finance, Supply Chain, Tax, and Operations teams worldwide. You will drive a strong control environment, elevate the quality of IFRS reporting, and turn data into concise, decision-ready commentary. How would you use your expertise to simplify complexity and influence outcomes across borders? Accountabilities: Monthly Close Excellence: Manage assigned activities as part of the monthly accounting close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of deliverables. External Delivery Oversight: Oversee outsourced service providers and ensure all assigned deliverables are completed in line with timelines and quality expectations. Intercompany Trade Governance: Manage trade-related activities between group entities for appropriateness. SOX Controls and Compliance: Operate within the SOX controls framework, completing assigned control procedures and maintaining compliance across the accounting area. Decision-Ready Reporting: Prepare commentary for semi-annual consolidated results for the rare disease unit, highlighting drivers, risks, and opportunities. Audit and Tax Support: Support group and local statutory audit requirements, as well as tax-related requests, including support for US GAAP financial reporting where required. Continuous Improvement: Participate in finance-related projects and support continuous improvement initiatives across the Controllers organization to streamline processes and strengthen controls. Legal Entity Lifecycle: Support legal entity accounting activities, including step plans, new entity set-up, mergers, and liquidations. Collaborator Partnership: Build and maintain positive relationships across functions, proactively managing expectations and influencing decision-making with data-driven narratives.
