Responsible for end-to-end material quotation, commercial pricing activities,
and cost analysis to support Sales, Business Development, and customer
engagements by delivering accurate, competitive, and high‑quality quotation
packages The role also ensures effective pricing governance, reporting, and
system updates to maintain alignment between customer commitments and internal
systems. What atypical day looks like Accountable for handling end-to-end RFQs
and delivering accurate, cost-effective quotation packages to support sales and
business development activities Source, analyze, and identify the most
competitive material pricing options through make/buy decisions and supplier
evaluation Negotiate pricing and propose cost optimization strategies including
redesign or process substitution to reduce overall cost Manage and coordinate
quotation requests from customers and internal stakeholders to identify the best
possible solution Collaborate with material groups, purchasing, and customers to
ensure cost-effective and competitive pricing outcomes Perform component pricing
analysis and coordinate pricing data exchange with purchasing teams Prepare and
implement customer price lists including material and labor cost analysis and
build assembly pricing structures Ensure accurate entry and validation of BOM
data and pricing information in quotation and ERP systems Update pricing in ERP
systems after approval and maintain alignment between system and customer
pricing Monitor pricing differences and manage target vs. system pricing
updates, ensuring proper order release where required Validate customer sales
orders by comparing pricing against system data and approve or return for
correction as needed Support shipment accuracy by ensuring prices are correctly
updated before order dispatch Prepare and analyze PPV (Purchase Price Variance)
reports and inventory revaluation reports Generate and manage periodic reports
including PPV accrual, sales & VAM, and weekly status reports Track progress of
pricing, PPV, and revaluation activities and ensure timely completion through
follow-ups and escalations Prepare reporting data and maintain documentation to
support decision-making and performance tracking Communicate effectively with
cross-functional teams, customers, and suppliers to resolve pricing and
operational issues Ensure compliance with internal processes, governance
standards, and safety requirements while executing all responsibilities
Experience we are looking to add to our team Typically requires a Bachelor’s
Degree or equivalent experience. Use of the following tools may be required:
Working usage of Word, Excel and Power Point, English language knowledge, data
entry, ten-key, spreadsheet (PC), ERP software. Ability to read and comprehend
instructions, correspondence and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group
situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest,
commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability
to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Ability to apply common sense
comprehension to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram
form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in
