Network Security Engineer

Network&Security engineer (6-8Years Experience):
Job Qualifications:
Execute network changes following ITIL processes.
Maintain accurate documentation of configurations, topology, and procedures.
Support upgrades, patches, and firmware updates.
Work closely with L1, L3, and other cross-functional teams.
Escalate complex issues to L3 or vendors when required.
Coordinate with vendors (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco) for troubleshooting and RMAs
Technical Skills :
FortiGate SD-WAN: Configuration, troubleshooting, policy management.
Palo Alto Firewalls: Security policies, NAT, VPNs, troubleshooting.
Load balancer : Configuring pools, policies , health monitors , SSL cert offload
Cisco Networking:
LAN Switching (VLANs, STP, trunking)
Routing protocols (OSPF/EIGRP/BGP – basic to intermediate)
Wireless (Cisco WLC, APs)
Strong knowledge of:
TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NAT
VPN technologies (IPSec, SSL VPN)
Network monitoring tools (SolarWinds)
Soft Skills
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
Effective communication and documentation skills
Ability to work in a 24x7 support environment (if required)
Preferred / Nice to Have
Experience with cloud networking (Azure)
