Job Summary

The Oracle Apps Technical Consultant is responsible for the technical design, development, customization, and support of Oracle E‑Business Suite (EBS) applications. The role involves working closely with functional consultants and business users to translate business requirements into technical solutions while ensuring performance, scalability, and compliance with Oracle standards.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Development

Design, develop, customize, and maintain Oracle E‑Business Suite R12 components.
Develop and modify Rice Components
Create and maintain PL/SQL procedures, packages, functions, and triggers.
Develop and customize Forms, OAF (Oracle Application Framework) pages, and ADF components (as applicable).
Work with Workflow Builder to customize and troubleshoot workflows.

Integration & Data Handling

Design and develop interfaces between Oracle EBS and third-party/external systems.
Perform data migration and conversion using SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle standard tools.
Troubleshoot and resolve data inconsistencies and reconciliation issues.

Support & Maintenance

Provide production support, including issue analysis, bug fixes, and performance tuning.
Analyze and resolve concurrent program failures, performance issues, and database-related errors.
Monitor and tune SQL queries and PL/SQL programs for optimal performance.

Technical Skills

Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong experience in Oracle E‑Business Suite R12
Expertise in SQL, PL/SQL
Hands-on experience with:
Oracle Reports
BI Publisher (XML, RTF templates)
Interfaces and APIs
Concurrent Programs
Good understanding of Oracle EBS architecture
Experience with Unix/Linux shell scripting
Knowledge of Oracle database objects and performance tuning
