Job Description: Associate Key Account Manager (Fashion)

Role Objective

To drive growth, profitability, and customer experience for a designated set of fashion brands on the marketplace. You will be the primary point of contact for brand partners, helping them scale their business through data-driven insights, selection optimization, and strategic promotion.

Key Responsibilities

Account Management & Relationship Building
Act as the "Business Consultant" for brands, conducting weekly and monthly business reviews (MBRs).
Onboard new brands and ensure their catalog is live, optimized, and visually appealing.
Negotiate commercial terms, including commissions (Take Rate), marketing budgets, and exclusive launches.
Category Growth & P&L Ownership
Own the Gross Merchandise Value (GMV) and revenue targets for your portfolio.
Analyze sales data to identify "White Spaces" (gaps in the current collection) and advise brands to fill them.
Monitor key metrics: Conversion Rate (CVR), Average Order Value (AOV), and Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC).
Inventory & Operations
Manage Stock Cover and Inwarding; ensure brands have sufficient depth in "Hero SKUs" (best-sellers).
Collaborate with logistics teams to reduce RTO (Return to Origin) and improve fulfillment speed.
Monitor pricing competitiveness to ensure your brands are winning the "Buy Box" or staying relevant against competitors.
Marketing & Merchandising
Plan and execute the promotional calendar (e.g., End of Reason Sale, Diwali events, Flash Sales).
Allocate premium "On-Property" visibility (banners, search ads) to brands based on performance and ROI.
Advise brands on improving digital assets (images, videos, descriptions) to boost organic discovery.

Requirements & Skills

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or Fashion Management (MBA preferred).
Experience: 1–3 years in E-commerce, Category Management, or Retail Buying.
Analytical Rigor: Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and data visualization tools (Tableau/SQL is a plus).
Fashion Instinct: A strong pulse on current trends and seasonal cycles in the Indian/Global fashion market.
Soft Skills: High-stakes negotiation skills and the ability to influence C-suite stakeholders at brand houses.
