Role Overview
We are looking for a Planning Engineer to support project planning and scheduling activities across our projects. This role ensures accurate and efficient planning to drive timely project delivery while minimizing time-related risks.
Key Responsibilities
Pre-Construction Planning
Collaborate with Business Development, Estimating, and Precontracts teams
Develop project schedules and timelines based on resources and project requirements
Optimize construction plans using efficient methodologies and tools
Identify and assess risks and opportunities related to project timelines
Project Monitoring & Problem Resolution
Monitor project progress and identify schedule deviations
Develop mitigation strategies and revised timelines
Coordinate with project teams and commercial stakeholders
Support claims and identify delay or disruption events
Engage clients, suppliers, and subcontractors on timeline adjustments
Stakeholder Management
Maintain strong communication with internal teams and external stakeholders
Anticipate client needs and identify potential risks early
Team Collaboration
Communicate issues effectively within the team
Support continuous improvement in planning practices
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Building Engineering, or related field
Professional membership (e.g., planning or project management) is an advantage
Minimum 3 years of experience in project planning or scheduling
Strong understanding of construction methodologies and contracts in the Philippines
Experience in planning systems such as Primavera P6, Asta Powerproject, or Tilos
Knowledge of risk management, stakeholder engagement, and conflict resolution
