About the Role:
This role will have responsibilities for the Debit card portfolio. These will include but not limited to manage and grow our debit card portfolio by driving card activation, manage network/partnership arrangements, executing targeted campaigns, coordinating with network partners, merchant partners, processing; ensuring regulatory compliance, building new use cases in partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to drive activation and long-term usage maintaining profitability of the initiatives and optimal customer engagement. Use of big data to ideate and conceptualize targeted interventions, campaigns and focus and lead on not just driving the activation but also influence customer behaviour for recurring usage of card.
Job Responsibilities:
As a Portfolio Manager, we expect the following things from you:
·Merchant alliances and CVP management – Manage the existing merchant offers including but not limited to CVP offers, evaluate and onboard new merchant offers/benefits, fulfilment, track utilisation/cost/trends, manage escalated complaints.
· Network/Partner Management – Manage the existing arrangements with Network, income and expense analysis and tracking to optimise the PnL
· Portfolio Management & Activation - Drive debit card activation and usage across customer segments; Monitor and improve card performance metrics including activation rates and customer engagement.
· Partner Coordination - Liaise with network partners (Visa, Mastercard, RuPay), processors for capability enhancements, campaign support, and issue resolution.
· Understand all aspects of Debit Card product & Direct Banking Channels, Regulations, Business process and service delivery to a customer.
· Coordinate with internal stakeholders like SDG, IT, Compliance, Legal, Process, Operations etc for driving activation and card SI/Mandate
· Prepare monthly/Quarterly presentation, dashboards and insights for senior management
· Manage Product marketing of the live product via Push, email & SMS and owned and paid media.
· Working knowledge of AI-ML/SQL, databases (MS Access) along with MS office for day–to-day analysis and tracking.
· Regulatory Reporting & Compliance - Ensure that all product processes & policies are compliant with internal and external regulations and standards.
· Prepare and submit periodic reports to regulatory bodies (e.g., RBI) in a timely and accurate manner.
· Long term vision – Ability to construct a vision basis long term customer and business needs, and strong oral/written communication skills to articulate the same in a compelling manner.
Education and Work Experience Requirements:
Essential requirement: MBA/PGDM in Finance/Marketing
