Quality Engineer - Rotary Equipment Services (Vadodara)

About the role Job Summary Responsible for QA / QC, Quality Documents, Claims handling, Root cause analysis, Repair services of Pumps & Turbo machinery at both the service centers Vadodara & Chennai. 1. Inspection of received pumps/ turbo services for refurbishment at our service centers 2. Dismantling report generation elaborating the repairs possibility and define the scope of repair. 3. Non destructive testing as when applicable 4. Generation order specific QAP and ensure the operations are executed as per QAP. 5. NCR management & RCA for any nonconformity 6. Customer complaints & warranty handling 7. Maintaining the ISO documents for IMS certification 8. Involve and arrange TPI / Customer witness as requirement. 9. Pre-dispatch inspection and clearance with documents. 10. Adhere the safety compliance are being maintained during the operations and execution in service center. 11. Familiar with quality measurement standard instruments like, roughness measurement, MRO/ ERO, hardness tester, PMI machines. 12. Knowledge of ASME, ISO standards & balancing standards Desired experience and qualifications Work experience: 8+ Years (preferably) experience as a Quality Engineer from pumps background & rotary equipments Expertise: Quality assurance, Root cause analysis Education: Level: Degree or Diploma in mechanical Certifications: ASNT level-2 Languages: Hindi/ English/ Gujarati (Preferred) Soft skills: Micro soft Office/ SAP (Preferred) What we offer you Sulzer is an equal opportunity employer.
