OVERVIEW OF ROLE
Responsible for Report reviewing of Toys & Hardgoods. Ensure smooth flow of
report verification and finalization within timelines thereby leading to
generating accurate reports and customer delight. Assist in building up
processes so that quality services are provided through the Testing services and
building an efficient and effective team for providence of at par services to
clients. Supervising a team consisting of
Key Responsibilities
• Ensure accurate verification of reports to be issued to clients on time as
per TAT/PSD.
• Finalization of report as per desired standard of client within the TAT.
• To conduct the training & assessment processes for all team members based
on applicability.
• To monitor and conduct training for the new & existing Engineer,
Coordinator, Report preparation colleague as per buyer in house standards.
• To conduct audit on in-house and international test methods among the
technologists, & coordinators, share findings / outcome, and take necessary
action plans to ensure 100% adherence to SOPs / Test Methods.
• To help the operation to correct/resolve all the Non-conformance & guide
teams towards preventive actions.
• Understanding of Buyer programs, manuals, training team to get these
implemented and follow by the SOP without deviation.
• To establish new standards (global / in-house) and increase test capability
of the laboratory.
• To ensure 100% accuracy in testing through the technical solution.
• To resolve all kinds of internal and external technical query.
• To assess the divisional employee through the verbal or written exam &
practical demonstration for understanding of Technical procedures and concepts
and ensure knowledge dissemination.
• Support to customer in order to interpret test result and improvement of
failure aspect.
• Ensure visit to customer as per the request to solve any technical issues
and record accordingly.
• Follow up and ensure proper corrective action of internal quality audit,
buyers.
• Ensuring the technical terms of report compliance with regulations &
buyer’s specification.
• Implementation of 10X way / Lean Six Sigma methodologies & reduce to
wastage & errors.
• Review team’s feedback and share knowledge & information with them.
• Create an engaging culture that inspires team to achieve outstanding
results.
• Work with all cross functional teams, esp. Operations, Quality, Sales and
other key stake holders to ensure Best-In-Class TECHNICAL EXCELLENCE.
SKILLS
• Excellent Technical knowledge & Business Acumen in Toys categories
• Effective coordination and communication abilities – both with clients and
team members.
• Proven leadership ability to inspire, develop, and empower employees to
achieve objectives with a team approach.
• Well aware of international standards of chemical & physical , applicable
for toys
Professional Qualification:
• B. Tech Mechanical Graduate
Work Experience
• Minimum 5 years of work experience in the relevant field
