Job Titie: Ruby on Rails Developer Experience: 10 to 15 years Location: Hyderabad Key Responsibilities:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Ruby on Rails Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications and cloud-native solutions. The ideal candidate should possess strong backend development expertise with Ruby on Rails, AWS cloud services, and relational databases, along with exposure to frontend technologies such as React or Python. This role requires collaboration across engineering teams, participation in architecture discussions, and mentoring of engineers to drive technical excellence.

Primary Skills

Required Skills & Experience

Strong proficiency in Ruby on Rails and SQL
Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud Services, including:
AWS Lambda
RDS
SNS
SQS
API Gateway
S3
Advanced relational database skills using MySQL or PostgreSQL
Secondary Skills

Experience in React or Python
Proficiency with monitoring and alerting tools such as Datadog and PagerDuty
Strong experience with Git and version control practices
Hands-on experience in building and enhancing CI/CD pipelines using:
GitHub Actions
Buildkite
Jenkins
CircleCI
Experience monitoring platform performance using AWS CloudWatch and Datadog, with integration to PagerDuty for incident management
Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Ruby on Rails
Build and optimize backend systems, APIs, and database solutions
Develop and support cloud-native applications on AWS infrastructure
Enhance automation, deployment, and release processes through CI/CD pipelines
Monitor application and platform performance to ensure reliability and scalability
Troubleshoot production issues and drive performance improvements
Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and solution design activities

Leadership & Collaboration

Provide technical guidance and mentor engineers across squads
Participate in architecture planning and platform roadmap discussions
Promote engineering best practices and coding standards
Drive collaboration across teams and support knowledge sharing initiatives
