As a Sales Compensation Financial Analyst you will manage the design and execution of annual sales plans, commission payroll, and productivity reporting. This role partners with leadership to drive data-driven decisions and accountability through enhanced financial reporting. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, proactive professional who communicates effectively with executives and thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Create and distribute finalized annual sales plans and manage quarterly adjustments as needed.
Conduct regular scenario planning for plan attainment and sales performance modeling.
Execute monthly commission cycles in Xactly Incent, including payroll processing and accrual recording.
Calculate and post monthly ASC 606 entries for deferred commissions and amortization expenses.
Drive reporting automation through existing systems to enhance management insights.
Manage month-end close reconciliations and support the finance team with ad-hoc analysis.
Job Requirements and Preferred Skills:
7+ years of progressive experience in sales/financial reporting with expertise in SaaS metrics (ARR) and compensation structures.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in NetSuite, Xactly Incent, and Salesforce (including dashboards).
Proven ability to take ownership of processes and thrive in dynamic, fast-paced, and ambiguous environments.
Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating cross-functionally and influencing stakeholders without direct authority.
Highly organized and self-motivated with a strong bias toward productivity and multitasking.
